Hello, I am Bill Purdy, a professional, career photographer and a Titanium Level Member of Nikon Professional Services. This membership is offered only for professional photographers who meet a specific level of inventory of Nikon equipment and who have a history of their work being published. I am approaching 30 years of experience behind the lens using film and digital platforms.
I am a passionate studio, portrait, and commercial photographer, focused on that day's photo shoot, exploring new locations, or experimenting with new equipment. I test new techniques with almost every photo opportunity and see potential shots everywhere I go. I use this passion when working my photo sessions and I truly desire to deliver stunning images to delight my clients.
I have a broad range of experience from shooting weddings, engagements, portraits, maternity/newborn, corporate events, modeling, fine art, professional head shots, real estate, commercial media, live concerts..... The list goes on and on. The bottom line is that I have a proven track record of capturing absolutely stunning images no matter the situation. That comes from having the right equipment, knowing exactly how and when to use it, and lightning fast ‘on-the-fly’ setting changes to match the moment. That only comes from extensive technical experience, an attribute missing from many of today's “side-gig” photographers.
The galleries you will see on the following pages are just a small sample of the results I have achieved over the years.
I use multiple full-frame, professional level Nikon cameras, top of the line lenses, and keep them in immaculate condition. I have several types of studio portrait lights, strobes, remote triggers, and have many types of backdrops and props for any style of shoot. My post-session workflow consists of several industry-leading software packages and I am proficient with them all.
